About Blake Edwards:
R. Blake Edwards is the Owner of North Fulton Pest Solutions (NFPS). Since joining NFPS in 2010, the family owned and operated company has enjoyed strong growth under his leadership. Drawing from the experience of his father, Joey Edwards of J. Edwards Services and former Senior Executive Vice President for a large national pest control company, Blake is well versed in strategic planning, and NFPS sits poised for continued organic growth and expansion through acquisition.
Prior to joining NFPS, Blake served as a Senior Consultant with FTI Consulting in New York. He also held two internships during his undergraduate studies including a role in the Sentricon division of Dow AgroSciences, performing Product Stewardship Reviews across the Southeast, developing a time-motion study to increase technician productivity, and assisting in research conducted by Dr. Daniel Suiter and the University of Georgia.
Blake’s leadership abilities have served him well in both the pest management industry and beyond. A graduate of the Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) Leadership Program, he has served multiple committees within the GPCA. As Past Master of Gate City Lodge No. 2, Past Masonic Education and Leadership Development Director of the Fifth Masonic District of the Grand Lodge of Georgia, Past District Deputy to the Grand Master, and current Master of the Fifth Masonic District, he gives regularly of his time and talents to improve his community and those around him. Blake also serves as a Board Member of the Crabapple Community Association, which exists to improve, protect, and enhance the overall quality of life in the historic Crabapple community located in Milton, Georgia where he and his family reside.
Blake graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors as a First Honor Graduate from the University of Georgia Honors Program. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and a Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership. He maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout his University studies graduating at the top of his class. While at University, Blake received numerous prestigious scholarships and was designated a Leonard Leadership Scholar, Cecil Walker Scholar, T.W. Reed Scholar, and William Moore Crane Leadership Scholar. He was also selected for membership in Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Blue Key Honor Society, Order of Omega, the Arch Society, and the Sphinx Club – the oldest honorary society and the highest non-academic honor bestowed at the University of Georgia, recognizing students, faculty, staff, and alumni who have made significant contributions to the University, the State of Georgia, and the nation.
